Overview
POSRex is an offline-first desktop point-of-sale system for supermarkets and growing retailers. It brings barcode checkout, customer credit and layaway, eGift cards, thermal receipts, inventory tracking, a back-office CMS, licence verification, and encrypted cloud backup into one Windows and macOS application that keeps selling when the connection drops, and it works with every major receipt printer and barcode scanner out of the box.
Outcomes
- Built the licence-verification system that activates and audits every installation, backed by encrypted cloud backup so stores keep selling through connection loss.
- Delivered inventory tracking, a back-office CMS, and receipt generation covering barcode checkout, customer credit, layaway, and eGift cards.
- Integrated every major ESC/POS receipt printer, barcode scanner, and mobile scanning workflow behind one device-agnostic hardware layer, with trilingual operation on Windows and macOS.
